Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Crew Lead Tree Climber to join our General Tree Care Team. You will perform high-quality tree care, prune, removals, cabling, and lead a small crew on challenging outdoor jobs.

We value safety, extensive training, and career growth; candidates need a valid US driver's license and comfort with climbing and operating chainsaws and lifts. Competitive pay up to $35/hr plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus; health insurance and 401(k) are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Passion for outdoor work and environmental stewardship.
• Experience with pruning large trees and ornamentals.
• Comfortable operating chainsaws and aerial lifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality tree care services including pruning, removals, and cabling.
• Climb trees safely using ropes, saddle, and ladders.
• Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other equipment effectively.
• Apply ANSI pruning standards and safety practices in all tasks.
• Ensure proper pruning cuts and preserve tree health.
• Lead and guide a crew on assigned jobs.
• Identify hazards and perform safety checks before, during, and after work.
• Maintain clear communication with team and clients.
