Job Overview

We are always looking to expand our team and bring on enthusiastic workers who enjoy being outside. We are hiring a Tree Trimmer, Pruner & Bucket Truck Operator. If you're hard working, dedicated, and ready to learn, Specialty Tree Service is a perfect place to get ahead.

Job Responsibilities

• Selective Pruning of trees for best health
• Improve building and service line clearances
• Deadwood / hazard removal
• Lateral shaping as needed
• Structural supporting / cable and bracing
• Crews use advanced climbing techniques and moderate equipment to move around in trees safely
• Rope rigging using friction device to help lower branches and wood safely to the ground
• Crane rigging used when practical
• Utilize chain saws, hand saws, and mechanical pruning tools
• Communication with ground crews to work in unison
• Clean up and removal of tree debris
• Perform duties as assigned
• Maintain regular attendance
• CDL preferred but not required

Desired Job Qualifications

• 18 years old minimum
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Driven individuals with strong work ethic and attention to detail
• A willingness to learn and grow within an expanding company
• Experience or knowledge in a tree care industry or similar field / education
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to stand all day and lift up to 50 pounds
• Preferred strong verbal and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of machinery and equipment maintenance
