Job summary

Joshua Tree Experts in NE Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Crew Leader to lead tree and shrub care operations on residential and commercial properties. You will join a safety-focused Tree Crew in NE Atlanta and supervise crew members while performing pruning, removals, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
• Excellent understanding of tree care operations and safe practices.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining tree care equipment (chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders).
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Tree Crew, perform and delegate tree care operations on residential and commercial properties.
• Operate Spyder lifts, bucket lifts, loaders, and various saws safely to prune, remove, or manage growth of trees and shrubs.
• Monitor and maintain assigned equipment.
• Communicate with clients while completing services to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct all aspects of arboriculture including risk assessment, pruning, removing, and cabling and bracing.
• Learn and implement company safety rules and regulations.

Atlanta, GA w with the primary responsibility of performing all tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties. As a Crew Leader, you will play a crucial role in:

• Working with the Tree Crew, perform and delegate tree care operations to residential and commercial properties

What You Need To Be a Crew Leader

• Excellent understanding of tree care operations and safe tree care practices
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals
• Strong ability to climb and navigate a tree safely and efficiently
• Extensive knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper care techniques
• Proficient in operating and maintaining various tree care equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders
• Excellent problem solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions on the job
• Ability communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record (CDL-B is preferred)
• ISA Certified Arborist is preferred, but not required
