Joshua Tree Experts in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Tree Climber to join our Tree Crew and perform residential and commercial tree care under the Crew Lead.

You will operate lifts and various saws, prune, remove, and manage growth while following safety rules. A strong background in tree care and the ability to climb safely are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of tree care operations and safe tree care practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
• Strong ability to climb and navigate a tree safely and efficiently.
• Extensive knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Tree Crew, perform tree care operations to residential and commercial properties.
• Operate Spyder lifts, bucket lifts, loaders, and various saws safely to prune, remove, or manage growth of trees and shrubs.
• Monitor and maintain assigned equipment.
• Conduct all aspects of arboriculture related to tree risk assessment, pruning, removing, and cabling and bracing.
• Learn, understand, and implement company safety rules and regulations.

As a Tree Climber, you will be an essential and valued member of the Tree Crew in Charlotte, NC with the primary responsibility of performing all tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties alongside our Crew Lead. As a Climber, you will play a crucial role in:

• Working with the Tree Crew, perform tree care operations to residential and commercial properties
• Operate Spyder lifts, bucket lifts, loaders, and various saws safely to prune, remove, or manage growth of trees and shrubs

What you need to be a Tree Climber:

• Excellent understanding of tree care operations and safe tree care practices
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals
• Strong ability to climb and navigate a tree safely and efficiently
• Extensive knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper care techniques
• Proficient in operating and maintaining various tree care equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders
• Excellent problem solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions on the job
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record (CDL-B is preferred)
