Job Duties
Responsible for overseeing and maintaining the operation and maintenance of a public potable water distribution system and a wastewater treatment plant to constantly remain in compliance with state and federal codes for drinking water and discharges into the environment for public safety.
We offer apprenticeship/trainee opportunities which provide on-the-job training and support that prepares the candidate to test for and obtain professional licensure in water and/or waste-water treatment.
Minimum Qualifications
General knowledge of overall operation of water and wastewater treatment plants, and associated control regulations.
Additional Considerations
Skills in use of applicable mechanical equipment and ability to make adjustments and minor repairs as required. Ability to perform, interpret, and document required laboratory testing. A Wastewater or Water License is beneficial but not required.
