Crystal Creek Post-Acute in Stockton, CA is seeking a Treatment Nurse to provide direct resident care, medication management, and supervise nursing staff. Duties include medication administration, verification of resident identity, and adherence to safety and policy standards.

The role emphasizes accurate narcotic handling, MAR reviews, and coordination with the Station Manager and RN Supervisor to ensure top-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current California LVN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
• Prior experience as a Treatment Nurse in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare setting preferred.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Verify the resident identity before administering medication or treatment.
• Ensure prescribed medication is not given to the wrong resident.
• Maintain adequate floor stock medications, supplies, and equipment and report to supervisor.
• Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment per policy.
• Keep narcotic records accurate for your shift and report discrepancies.
• Notify the supervisor of drug and narcotic discrepancies.
• Review MARs for accuracy and adherence to stop orders.
• Notify attending physician of automatic stop orders prior to last dosage.
• Dispose of drugs and narcotics per procedures.

Education
