Job summary

RADIAS Health is seeking a Treatment Director to provide professional, quality program services for clients at ReEntry House IRTS, supervising clinical staff and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The role emphasizes community-based service delivery and evidence-based practices, with responsibilities including treatment planning, staff supervision, and regulatory oversight.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in the behavioral sciences or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 4,000 hours of experience providing services to mentally ill persons.
  • 2,000 hours of training or experience in administration or supervision.
  • Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional, LICSW, LP or LMFT preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical aspects of the facility's programming including groups and treatment planning.
  • Assign duties to staff and provide consultation on structure and systems.
  • Supervise direct reports including evaluations and development plans.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements are met with DHS, OIG, Medicaid/MA, and other authorities.
  • Develop and ensure completion of mandated training and learning needs.
  • Investigate and report suspected abuse/neglect.
  • Review treatment documentation and provide feedback.
  • Attend community/provider meetings and training sessions.
  • Provide staffing pattern to ensure 24-hour supervision.
  • Hire positions in concert with HR.
  • Resolve resident grievances.
  • Administer medications after medication test is passed.
  • On-call rotation for mental health crises.
  • Coordinate coverage for missed shifts with Business Coordinator.
  • Complete paperwork promptly and maintain regular hours.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.

Job description

The expected salary range for this position is based on several factors including market, funding, candidates experience level, skills, training, and related knowledge. Our ranges are developed and published as good faith estimates for the position.

Salary Range: $89,600 - $104,000 | Office benefit package (Parking/Remote Expenses): $80/Month Subject to change

The Treatment Director will provide professional, quality program services to the clients served by ReEntry House IRTS and works with other members of the team to assist clients in obtaining and maintaining an optimum quality of life consistent with client needs and preferences. The work uses evidence-based practices adopted for the agency and the client's specific needs. The emphasis is placed on working with clients in community settings and directly providing the services necessary to assist clients in achieving their goals.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Residential Treatment and Supportive Housing, this position is responsible for administrative and clinical supervisory work. The work involves the identification, development, implementation and evaluation of program policies and procedures as directed by state, federal and administrative codes, as well as professional practice standards. Work is performed with latitude for independent judgment and action is reviewed by the supervisor through conferences, report and observation of results obtained.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of the facility's programming including groups, activities and treatment planning, including development and implementation of treatment-related policies and procedures.
  • Assigns duties to Mental Health Therapists, Mental Health Practitioners, Mental Health Rehabilitation Workers, and Certified Peer Recovery Specialists. Provide consultation and training to all program staff regarding implementation of structure and systems pertaining to the program.
  • Supervision of direct reports, including performance evaluations, growth and development plans, performance documentation, discipline and recommendations for salary adjustments.
  • Accountable to ensure regulatory requirements are met for regulatory authorities (Department of Human Services Licensing, Office of the Inspector General, Medicaid/MA, Department of Health SLF requirements and/or County inspections of program, MN 245I and related statutory requirements)
  • Develop and ensure completion and compliance of all mandated training, in-services and other relevant learning needs. Identify and/or conduct any necessary individual training for direct reports.
  • Investigate and report suspected incidents of abuse and neglect.
  • Reviews relevant treatment documentation and provides appropriate constructive feedback to employees who write and implement treatment documentation.
  • Attend appropriate community provider meetings, relevant meetings, conferences, and training sessions outside facility.
  • Provides a staffing pattern to insure 24-hour supervision and adequate program staff coverage during regular program hours.
  • Hiring of all positions in concert with Human Resources Department.
  • Responsible for review and resolution of resident grievances.
  • Upon successful completion of required medication test, administers medications.
  • On-call rotation for mental health crises and other emergencies including last minute shift coverage.
  • During scheduled rotation, with support from the Business Coordinator, secure coverage for any missed shifts, planned or unplanned, using all available agency resources. This may include on-site coverage for client care and per DHS requirements if no other coverage is secured.
  • Complete all paperwork, reports, and charting contemporaneously and in an organized manner.
  • Maintain a pattern of regular work hours.
  • Participate actively in on-going professional growth and development; maintain appropriate professional behavior and participate in appropriate supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned.
