Job description

New York Family Dentistry is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual with a foreign dental education background to join our team as a Treatment Coordinator. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet patients warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

  3. Educate patients on the clinical benefits of dental treatment, insurance benefits, and out-of-pocket costs.
  4. Collaborate with the team to assist patients with third-party financing, including completing applications and explaining credit check processes.
  5. Engage in creative problem-solving to help patients achieve their oral health goals.
  6. Document treatment discussions, financial details, and necessary prior approvals.
  7. Hand off paperwork to the front desk for processing and upload documents to patient charts.
  8. Leave comprehensive notes on treatment discussions and financial arrangements for efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Dental Degree (DDS, DMD, or equivalent) from a recognized international institution, with proof of credential evaluation for practice eligibility in the U.S. (if applicable).
  • Experience in clinical dentistry or related dental professions, with knowledge of dental procedures, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Strong understanding of restorative, cosmetic, and orthodontic treatments.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Continuing education in dental or healthcare management is a plus to stay current with industry trends.
