Full-Time Treatment Coordinator - Dental - Queens

Reports to: Chief of Dentistry, Queens

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentists, as well as the hygienists, receptionists, dental unit manager, and other members of the Dental staff
  • Educate patients and community groups on basic routine oral health education
  • Maintain patient relation, discussing patient's benefits and treatment options when applicable
  • Educate patient on individual treatment plan for given diagnosis
  • Assist patients with financing options, insurance questions, and treatment concerns
  • Verify and explain patient's benefits eligibility as needed
  • Take care of difficult patients and doing public relation calls to patients when necessary
  • Keep treatment acceptance rate within office goals
  • Assist in training new staff of their assigned duties
  • Provide knowledge of dental CPT codes to staff when required
  • Send pre-estimates and follow up with patients
  • Assist office manager to prepare monthly revenue reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Dental Assistant Certification preferred
  • Medical or Dental Assistant training preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Chinese preferred
  • Background in 4-handed dentistry experience preferred

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary: $50,000.00 - 55,000.00 per year
