Job description

Imperative Chemical Partners has an immediate opening for a Treater Truck Driver with a Class A or Class B CDL in Fairfield, TX. If you are interested in joining a growing company with a proven track record of success, this is your opportunity!

SUMMARY:

The Treater truck driver is primarily responsible for providing chemical treatment of oil wells and identifying issues that may arise on site. The role requires safe operation within HSE parameters.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform scheduled chemical treatments of oil wells
  • Troubleshoot issues on assigned oilfield wells
  • Recognize and communicate issues with oil wells promptly to customers and supervisors
  • Interact with customers and field personnel to address questions and resolve issues
  • Monitor, maintain, or troubleshoot field equipment supporting chemical treatments
  • Maintain and submit paperwork and logs for chemical treatments and deliveries
  • Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of pumps on trucks/trailers as needed
  • Maintain company property and ensure compliance with DOT regulations for trucks, trailers, and cargo
  • Complete daily DOT regulatory requirements (pre/post trips, logs)
  • Maintain accurate shipping papers and placards
  • Wear appropriate PPE and safety gear per company policy
  • Inspect storage tanks and containment for regulatory compliance
  • Follow company safety policies and guidelines
  • Use phone app-based systems for creating shipping papers, deliveries, and communication
  • Operate in accordance with DOT regulations for hazardous materials and homeland security guidelines
  • Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrakes endorsements (Class A preferred)
  • Acceptable driving record for at least 3 years

DOT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Operate CMV with GVWR of 26,001+ lbs
  • Minimum 2 years of verified commercial driving experience (Class A CDL)
  • Valid Medical Certificate (Form 5876)
  • Clear PSP report, reporting all accidents
  • Clean MVR with no more than 3 violations in 3 years, no DWI/DUI in past 7 years
  • Must show as "Driver Not Prohibited" in Clearinghouse query

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Previous oil and gas well experience
  • 0-2 years in oil and gas operations
  • 0-1 year in chemical treatment of oil and gas wells

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Complete and pass all pre-employment screenings
