Job summary

LX Pantos America Inc. in Teaneck, NJ is seeking a Treasury Specialist to manage daily cash operations, payments, bank account management, and vendor bank verification.

You will work with the Finance team to ensure stable cash flow and compliance with internal controls. The role requires a Bachelor's in finance or related field, 5+ years in treasury/accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate in English and Korean.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in treasury or accounting.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to communicate in written and oral English & Korean.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash operations.
• Process payments in accordance with internal procedures.
• Maintain vendor bank account information and verify banks.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile with accounting records.
• Prepare treasury-related internal reports and documentation.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Collaborate with accounting to improve treasury processes.

Job description

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for daily treasury operations, including payment processing, bank account management, vendor bank verification, and cash-related reconciliations.

This role works closely with the Finance and Accounting teams to support stable cash flow operations and ensure compliance with internal control policies.

2. Key Responsibilities

1) Cash Management & Payments

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly cash operations
• Process payments in accordance with internal procedures
• Monitor cash activity and support overall cash flow management
• Maintain and manage vendor bank account information
• Operate the vendor bank verification process
• Support basic payment control and verification procedures

3) Financial Transactions Management

• Manage general financial transactions with banking partners
• Analyze financial transaction activity and prepare internal reports
• Communicate with banks and internal stakeholders as needed
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Ensure consistency between bank records and accounting records
• Coordinate with the accounting team on reconciliation-related matters

5) Other Responsibilities

• Prepare treasury-related internal reports and documentation
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Assist with treasury process improvements and documentation

3. Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in treasury or accounting
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and cash flow management
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to communicate in English (primarily written communication)
• Must be able to communicate in written and oral for both English & Korean

Preferred

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Experience supporting U.S. corporate finance or treasury operations
• Experience with vendor bank account management or payment processes
• Experience in logistics, distribution, or general corporate environments

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
