Job summary

loanDepot is seeking a Wire Transfer Specialist to process incoming and outgoing domestic wires in a hybrid role based in Irvine, CA or Plano, TX. The role ensures timely settlement in bank systems and adherence to company policies, along with all applicable laws.

You will resolve inquiries, monitor wire and collateral activity, and support internal and external customers. A Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Economics and 3+ years in banking/mortgage with advanced Excel/Alteryx/SQL is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with advanced Excel, Alteryx, or SQL is preferred.

Position Summary

Responsible for processing incoming and outgoing domestic wire transfers through applicable bank systems daily in accordance with all wire transfer deadlines. This position ensures the performance of all duties are in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, as well as all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, where the company does business.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing domestic settlement wires through applicable bank systems daily in accordance with all wire transfer deadlines.
• Processes warehouse collateral movement in accordance with all transfer deadlines.
• Researches and resolves inquiries and exceptions as requested.
• Provides support and addresses internal and external customer inquiries/issues related to wire transfers.
• Reconciles wire and collateral activity.
• Functions effectively within a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance and improve controls within Treasury.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred and a minimum of three (3) + years of related work experience.
• Experience in the Mortgage industry, Banking background preferred.
• Experience with advanced Excel, Alteryx, or SQL is preferred.
• This is a hybrid position based in Irvine, CA or Plano, TX - requiring two days per week.

Base salary is one piece of our total rewards package and is structured within a range so you can progress as you grow in the role. For this position, the anticipated annual base salary range is $23.08 to $31.73 nationally. In certain high-cost geographic markets (CA), the anticipated annual base salary range is $26.44 to $36.30. Actual compensation will depend on your skills, experience, qualifications, and the work location tied to our geographic pay structure.
