Our Specialized Product Sales team, part of the Global Payments Solutions organization, delivers innovative cash management and payments solutions to clients. The team focuses on providing payables solutions to corporate, commercial, and business banking clients, as well as financial institutions and public sector entities.

This role involves proactive lead generation and business development through client engagement and partner collaboration. Responsibilities include leading client engagements for payables offerings, such as sourcing, RFP responses, pricing strategies, software demonstrations, and presentations. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of our payables products across the Global Payments Solutions platform, including Corporate Travel and Purchasing Cards, Virtual Payables, and other B2B payables products.

  1. Own sales efforts through prospecting and nurturing client relationships.
  2. Maintain expertise in product functionality, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
  3. Respond to RFIs/RFPs and deliver presentations to clients and leadership.
  4. Collaborate with key business partners like Product Management, Treasury Sales, and Relationship Management.
  5. Brief senior leaders on sales strategies and deal progress.
  6. Advocate for client needs to drive product innovation.
  7. Partner with the bank to access senior contacts within prospects and clients.
  8. Lead client presentations via various communication channels.
  9. Demonstrate platform features and communicate benefits.
  10. Price deals and lead negotiations.
  11. Conduct internal training on products and services.
  12. Represent the organization at conferences and trade shows, generating new leads.

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the payables marketplace, with knowledge of the competitive landscape and regional variations.
  • Expertise in Global Commercial Card & Payables in sales, account management, or product roles.
  • Experience in sales within a large, global financial institution.
  • Knowledge of treasury management and payables services.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced global environment.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.

Pay Transparency: The salary range is $105,000 - $175,000 annually, based on experience, education, and skills. The role is eligible for discretionary incentives and benefits, including paid time off and resources to support employee growth and community contribution.
