Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Treasury Analysis Lead Analyst to oversee daily payment balancing across checks, ACH, IACH, and wires. You will troubleshoot application issues and partner with Treasury and Technology teams to strengthen controls and improve user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, IT, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury, banking technology, application support, payment operations or related field.
• Strong understanding of payment processing workflows and banking products/services.
• Experience supporting production applications, researching failed jobs, and resolving system/file issues.
• Ability to read logs, analyze error messages, and perform troubleshooting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of common payment or data file formats.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and accountability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative approach across departments, technology teams, and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily payment file balancing across Treasury applications to ensure accurate processing.
• Validate system totals against bank acknowledgements, research discrepancies, and escalate with clear facts.
• Monitor dashboards, emails, jobs, files, integrations, and scheduled processes for successful execution.
• Troubleshoot rejected or delayed payment jobs by reviewing logs and formats.
• Partner with product owners, IT, Treasury Technology, and support teams to resolve issues and improve service quality.
• Track recurring issues and recommend system or process improvements.
• Support user setup, access reviews, and provisioning across Treasury apps.
• Respond to audit inquiries and maintain SOX‑supporting documentation.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders during incidents and daily production support.
