Job summary

PrideStaff is seeking a Treasury Operations & Cash Management Specialist in the Clearwater area, FL. You will oversee daily banking activity, cash applications, and reconciliations, supporting cross-functional finance teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The position offers on-site training with hybrid flexibility as proficiency grows, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of corporate treasury, banking deposit operations, or cash applications experience.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles (GL debits/credits).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel and fast 10-key data entry.
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Exposure to insurance admin or high-volume BPO finance is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily electronic transaction activity including ACH batches and remote deposit verifications.
• Monitor and reconcile daily ACH returns across multiple accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and process positive pay (check authorizations and returns).
• Research outstanding or uncashed checks, issue stop-payment requests, and process replacements as needed.
• Generate first and second notice correspondence for outstanding checks.
• Maintain organized digital files and logs per retention schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to ensure accurate posting of GL debits and credits.
