Platform Finance · In Office at Boyce Plaza · Reports to Controller
Is This You...
- The most organized person you know, and proud of it.
- Someone who gets real satisfaction from a bank reconciliation that ties to the penny and a payables inbox at zero.
- Experienced enough to run cash, bills, and bank accounts without being told how, and happy to be the person who does it exceptionally well rather than the person managing it?
- Unflappable when a wire must go out today and the approvals are not lined up yet?
- Looking for a seat you can own for years at a company that will treat you like the professional you are?
About The Role
SteelPoint Capital Holdings is a Pittsburgh based family of companies spanning real estate investment, private capital lending (Loans for Landlords), real estate property management, accounting and advisory services, marketing, and a growing private capital platform. We are scaling quickly, we run on EOS, and we hold ourselves to a standard of institutional quality reporting and controls while keeping the speed and heart of a founder led business.
The Treasury Operations Specialist is the person who runs the day-to-day movement of money across SteelPoint Capital Holdings and its operating companies. You report to the Controller. You position cash daily, run payables through Ramp, reconcile every bank account, maintain the payment calendar, and keep the cash forecast honest with real data.
We are hiring an experienced professional for this seat on purpose. This is not a steppingstone role, and we are not looking for someone who wants to be the Controller in eighteen months. We are looking for someone who wants to be the best treasury and payables operator in Pittsburgh and be paid and respected for it.
What You'll Own
Daily Cash Positioning
- Post a daily cash position across all entities and bank accounts by 9:30 a.m.
- Identify shortfalls and surpluses and recommend transfers to the Controller.
- Execute approved transfers and wires under the approval matrix, with complete documentation every time.
Payables and Vendor Management
- Own the payables cycle through Ramp: intake, coding, approval routing, payment runs and confirmation.
- Onboard and maintain vendors, W-9s and payment terms. Prevent duplicate and fraudulent payments.
- Maintain the payment calendar for debt service, investor distributions, payroll funding, taxes, insurance, and recurring vendors so nothing is ever late.
- Manage corporate card programs, spend policies, and receipt compliance.
Bank Reconciliation and Controls
- Reconcile every bank, credit card and escrow account monthly, most of them weekly, and clear reconciling items within the month.
- Maintain signers, users and entitlements across all bank portals and Ramp.
- Own positive pay, ACH filters and fraud controls with the banks.
- Keep the wire and payment support file audit ready.
Cash Forecast and Covenant Support
- Load actuals into the 20-week cash forecast every week and flag variances to the Controller before the Friday review.
- Track loan draws, paydowns and investor note funding, so the forecast reflects reality.
- Maintain the covenant calendar and gather the support for compliance certificates.
Lending and Investor Money Movement
- Fund approved Loans for Landlords closings and draws and reconcile them to the loan tape.
- Process investor distributions and note payments and reconcile them to InvestNext.
- Coordinate with the lending and investor relations teams so money moves on time and is documented.
Who You Are
- Five or more years in treasury operations, accounts payable, cash management or a bank operations role.
- You have run payables in a system such as Ramp, Bill.com or similar and you have reconciled multiple bank accounts on a schedule.
- You are precise, consistent, and calm. Predictive Index profiles such as Guardian, Specialist, Craftsman or Operator are typical of people who thrive in this seat.
- You are comfortable in QuickBooks Online and strong in Excel.
- You care about doing the work right more than doing the next job.
- You are discreet. You will see every dollar the company moves.
- People who thrive here often come from an account payable or treasury lead seat at a real estate, construction or professional services company, a bank treasury or cash management operations role, or a bookkeeping practice where they owned client cash for years.
Why Join Us
- You will own money movement for a growing family of companies, and you will be trusted to run it.
- Stable seat, clear expectations, a Controller who respects the work.
- No corporate ladder politics. Do great work, be recognized for it.
- Health, dental and vision benefits, retirement benefits, paid time off and a team that will have your back.
Compensation
Base salary of $65,000 to $85,000+ depending on experience, plus a bonus tied to reconciliation timeliness, zero late payments and cash position accuracy.
Our Core Values
Let's Go!: We move with urgency and energy. We would rather act, learn and adjust than wait for perfect.
Extreme Ownership: No excuses, no finger pointing. If it touches your seat, you own the outcome.
We Got Your Back: We show up for each other, cover the gaps and celebrate the wins together.
Lead with Heart: We care about people first. Investors, borrowers, tenants, clients and teammates.
If a clean bank rec makes you a little happier than it should, we would like to meet you.
This is a seat for a professional who wants to be excellent at the work, not for someone looking to manage the function next year.

- Payables system and multi account bank reconciliation experience.
