Job summary

Global Lending Services is seeking a Treasury Operations Specialist to join the Treasury team. You will monitor and maintain company liquidity and financing operations by producing bank and investor reports, processing borrowing requests, and managing cash flow.

You will support all Treasury Operations and Capital Markets activities, create internal liquidity and expense reports, and assist in forecasts while collaborating with auditors and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data gathering, and analysis skills required
• High proficiency in Excel; VBA/SQL knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing monthly servicer reports for outstanding securitization transactions and bank facilities
• Create daily internal treasury reports covering liquidity, interest expense, and bank commitments
• Process daily allocation of monies from master collection accounts to financing accounts
• Submit daily borrowing requests to banking partners
• Assist in short/medium-term liquidity forecasts
• Support quarterly and annual compliance and reporting; liaise with auditors
• Assist in resolving funding and contract exceptions with other departments

What does it mean to be a Treasury Operations Specialist at GLS?

As a Treasury Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Treasury team that monitors and maintains the company's liquidity and financing operations by producing various bank and investor reports, borrowing requests, and managing cash flow operations. You will be responsible or supporting all aspects of Treasury Operations and Capital Markets activities.

How will you drive value within the organization as a Treasury Operations Specialist?

• Assist in the production of monthly servicer reports for outstanding securitization transactions and bank credit facilities
• Create daily internal treasury reports that cover liquidity, interest expense, bank commitments, and related metrics
• Process the daily allocation of monies from master collection accounts to separate financing collection accounts
• Produce and submit daily borrowing requests to banking partners
• Assist in the preparation of short and medium-term liquidity forecasts
• Provide support to quarterly and annual compliance and reporting processes, and work with third party auditors during their annual review of treasury operations
• Assist in resolving funding and contract exceptions with other departments

What should you already know to be successful as a Treasury Operations Specialist?

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering, or a related field required
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial concepts required
• Strong analytical, problem solving, data gathering, and analysis skills required
• Strong Excel skills required; basic knowledge least one computer coding language (VBA, SQL) preferred
• High level of intellectual curiosity required including the inclination and ability to understand the drivers of financial results and the overall financial picture of the organization
• High level of professional maturity; verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with senior management required
• Strong drive, ambition, and self-motivation; ‘self-starter’ with the ability to independently resolve day-today issues
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Team player that can adapt in a fast paced and changing environment
• Commitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competencies

Employment Requirements:

• This is an exempt level position whereby business need will dictate the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at times. Generally, the days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
• Regular, predictable attendance is required, including in excess of 40 hours per week as business demands dictate
• Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
• The position does not require travel
• Significant portions of daily assignments involve application of manual skills requiring motor coordination in combination with finger dexterity
• Remain in a stationary position up to 100% of the workday
• Be able to perform activities such as: viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, bending, and kneeling
