A major, international multi-strategy hedge fund are looking to hire their first US based ‘Treasury Operations SME’ to be based out of their rapidly expanding New York office.

The role has a hybrid remit covering treasury operations, financing for US Equities & Fixed Income securities and project management responsibilities (the role has a 50/50 split between line work and project work – this will predominantly be focused on process improvements / automation and mitigating risk, with many projects created, run and managed by the hire using his/her own initiative). Whilst we are hiring at a relatively junior level, the hire has incredible visibility across the firm and autonomy, with the potential to manage in the future when the function builds out.

Candidates should have 3-8yrs experience, ideally in hedge fund operations, but we are open to banking candidates that have worked close to treasury/financing teams. Good experience running projects is a pre-requisite, whilst advanced tech skills are preferred. Excellent communication skills are required. The firm typically place an emphasis on strong academics & industry qualifications.

The role is budgeted to pay up a $200-300k year-one TC (depending on level of experience and individual performance) + incredible benefits.
