Job summary

Core Scientific is seeking an Assistant Treasurer to lead day-to-day cash operations and liquidity management in a public company setting. You will partner with the Treasurer, and collaborate across Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure scalable treasury processes supporting growth.

The role emphasizes risk management, reporting, and governance aligned with SOX and public-company standards, with opportunities to influence financing activities and treasury systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field is required.
• MBA, CFA, or CTP certification is preferred.
• 5–10+ years of treasury, corporate finance, or financial services experience with leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cash operations and intercompany funding.
• Support liquidity planning, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
• Monitor liquidity metrics and escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
• Support derivatives, confirmations, documentation, and collateral management.
• Prepare risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting for stakeholders.
• Assist with treasury policies, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
• Ensure timely treasury reporting in coordination with Accounting and Legal.
• Lead treasury systems administration and banking platform usage.
• Support corporate financing activities including debt issuances and refinancings.
• Develop treasury financial models and analytics.
• Contribute to M&A treasury workstreams and capital planning.
