Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will collaborate with accounting and FP&A to ensure seamless cash flow and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in treasury or corporate finance, GAAP knowledge, and strong cross-functional collaboration. CPA preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting/treasury or corporate finance experience.
  • GAAP knowledge and experience with financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cash positioning and liquidity forecasting.
  • Project liquidity, monitor cash positions, transfers, and debt activity.
  • Analyze working capital with Operations partners.
  • Standardize payments, bank reconciliations, and bank fees analysis.
  • Lead Accounts Payable team and treasury operations (wire/ACH).
  • Manage debt accounting and interest rate swaps; monitor bank balances.
  • Support treasury integration with accounting and finance leadership.
  • Maintain corporate bank accounts and digital banking access.
  • Enforce internal controls and comply with policies.
  • Coordinate period closings, cash flow reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare schedules and footnotes for external audits.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Treaasury Manager to join our team in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of directing cash, ensuring adequate liquidity, managing banking relationships, and initiating process improvement activity. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will collaborate closely with accounting and financial planning teams to ensure seamless integration between treasury activities, general ledger, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in treasury/banking operations, cash management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily cash positioning and liquidity forecasting to ensure sufficient working capital to meet operational needs.
  • Project liquidity, monitor daily cash positions, cash transfers, debt draws and repayments
  • Analyze working capital results through cross-functional collaboration with Operations partners
  • Standardize & streamline all relevant components of payments including bank account reconciliations & bank fee analysis
  • Lead team of Accounts Payable professionals
  • Execute daily treasury operations, including wire transfers, ACH movements, and intercompany funding.
  • Manage accounting and technical considerations for debt, and interest rate swaps.
  • Monitor and manage company bank account balances; analyze fees and optimize bank structures.
  • Support treasury integration work tied to company needs.
  • Maintain corporate bank accounts, and digital banking access.
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls to mitigate fraud and ensure the integrity of cash movements.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures, and recommend changes to policies as may be appropriate
  • Manage assigned period closing tasks, journal entries, cash flow reporting, and reconciliations in coordination with accounting and finance leadership.
  • Gather and analyze financial data from internal teams for reporting purposes (e.g., flux analysis, cash forecasting).
  • Support compliance with regulatory requirements and play an active role in the implementation of new accounting standards and initiatives.
  • Prepare and coordinate supporting schedules, footnotes, and documentation for external financial audits and reviews.
  • Aid the accounting team in day-to-day activities, special projects, and workflow process improvements.
  • Support junior staff members, fostering an environment of professional development.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting, treasury, or corporate finance experience, including at least 3 years leading treasury operations in a multi-site or global organization.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting systems and software
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including project management skills.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to upholding ethical standards.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic organization.
