Job summary

Trew is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to oversee cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and risk activities. The role ensures liquidity, optimizes cash usage, and strengthens internal controls across treasury operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on leadership, and 5–8 years in corporate treasury, with CPA/CTP/MBA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cash management, capital markets, debt instruments, and financial risk management.
• Advanced Excel modeling and financial analysis skills.
• Proven ability to manage banking relationships and negotiate credit facilities and fee structures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring staff.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal controls testing.
• Exposure to FX hedging programs and derivative instruments a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash positioning, short‑term investing, and borrowing activities to ensure liquidity.
• Maintain 13‑week and long‑term cash flow forecasts; analyze variances and recommend actions.
• Oversee banking relationships, account structures, fee analysis, credit facilities, and covenant compliance.
• Support debt management activities including borrowing, repayment, and covenant reporting.
• Manage foreign exchange, interest rate, and other financial risk exposures; hedge strategies as needed.
• Oversee treasury workstation/TMS administration, bank account management, and electronic payments.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements; collaborate on security controls.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and Legal on capital structure and M&A treasury needs.
• Prepare treasury reporting and analysis for senior leadership.

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to oversee the organization's cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and financial risk activities. This role is responsible for ensuring the company maintains adequate liquidity, optimizes the use of cash, manages debt and investment activity, and strengthens internal controls across treasury operations. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands‑on leadership experience in corporate treasury.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash positioning, short‑term investing, and borrowing activities to ensure sufficient liquidity across all operating entities.
• Maintain 13-week and long‑term cash flow forecasts; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
• In partnership with Treasurer oversee banking relationships, including account structures, fee analysis, credit facilities, and covenant compliance.
• Support Treasurer in debt management activities, including borrowing, repayment, and covenant reporting under existing credit agreements.
• Manage foreign exchange, interest rate, and other financial risk exposures; recommend and execute appropriate hedging strategies.
• Oversee treasury workstation/TMS administration, bank account management, and electronic payment platforms.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, treasury policies, and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX).
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and Legal on capital structure, financing activities, and M&A‑related treasury needs.
• Prepare treasury reporting and analysis for senior leadership

Required Skills/ Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of cash management, capital markets, debt instruments, and financial risk management.
• Advanced Excel modeling and financial analysis skills.
• Proven ability to manage banking relationships and negotiate credit facilities and fee structures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership.

• High degree of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA a plus.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, banking, or a related finance function.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
• Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and ERP systems.
• Experience in a multi‑entity or multinational corporate environment a plus.

Work EnvironmentThis is primarily a desk‑based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk‑based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues.

Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office, manufacturing facility and customer sites.
