Job summary

Job Summary:

The Treasury Management Assistant provides administrative, operational, and customer service support to the Treasury Management department. This position assists with implementing, maintaining, and servicing treasury management products and services while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with bank policies, internal procedures, and applicable regulations.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and servicing of treasury management products, including ACH Origination, Wire Transfers, Remote Deposit Capture, Positive Pay, Merchant Services, Lockbox Services, and Online Banking.
• Prepare and process treasury management agreements, account maintenance requests, and related documentation.
• Coordinate new client implementations and product installations with customers and internal departments.
• Monitor pending service requests and follow up to support timely completion and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist with training related to treasury management products, online banking, and cash management services.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and coordinate resolutions with Operations, Information Technology, and other bank departments.
• Maintain accurate customer records and perform quality-control reviews of documentation and system entries.
• Support Treasury Management Officers with customer follow-up, proposals, reporting, and other departmental needs.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to meet customer needs through appropriate treasury management solutions.
• Follow BSA/AML, OFAC, NACHA, bank policies, and all other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain the confidentiality of customer and bank information.
• Participate in required training and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements (Education, Experience):

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Banking, treasury management, deposit operations, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of banking operations, treasury management services, electronic payment systems, or NACHA rules preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office; ability to learn banking software systems.

Physical Requirements:

This work is primarily sedentary and requires prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.

Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically.

Working Conditions:

Normal professional office environment within a financial institution.
