Job summary

U.S. Venture, Inc. is seeking a Treasury Intern for our Summer 2027 internship program in the Corporate Office in Appleton, WI. The internship runs May–August 2027 and will focus on assisting daily treasury transactions, cash management, and reporting activities.

You will also help manage bank users, products, and services, contribute to audits, and analyze processes across finance areas. This role offers hands-on experience in treasury operations within a dynamic corporate setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily cash management operations including cash positioning, reporting, and inquiries.
• Maintain bank account databases, signer lists, and online banking portal users/entitlements.
• Record general ledger entries for cash transactions.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Research and reconcile exception items such as unexpected charges and missing deposits.
• Coordinate with other finance areas (AP, tax, accounting).
• Compile/analyze data to support treasury decisions and document procedures.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Treasury Intern for our Summer 2027 internship program! This internship will primarily be responsible for assisting daily treasury transactions and staff including cash management and cash reporting activities. This position will also help manage all administration related to the setup and maintenance of bank users, products, and services. Additional duties include analytics and organization of processes or scenarios related to other finance areas of the organization.

U.S. Venture's Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in completion or data sourcing related to daily cash management operations such as cash positioning, reporting, and shared service center enquiries
• Maintain current authorized signers; maintain bank account database and files, and manage online banking portal users and entitlements
• Record appropriate general ledger entries for company cash transactions
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Researching and reconciling exception items, such as unexpected charges and missing deposits
• Assist in coordinating efforts with other finance areas, such as accounts payable, tax, and accounting
• Compile and analyze data to support treasury operational decisions and drive improvements in cash management, develop and document procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or similar field of study
• Ability to work independently to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• High attention to detail and consistency in delivering high quality work output is critical
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Excel (including use of macros and pivot tables)
