Job summary

U.S. Venture seeks an Accounting & Finance Intern for the Summer 2027 internship program at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI. You will participate in day-to-day accounting and finance activities and contribute to team projects within the U.S. Energy division.

The program runs May–August 2027; relocation is not specified. Ideal candidates are active in accounting or finance majors and possess strong Excel/Word skills with customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a junior or senior in accounting or finance.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end/year-end (analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, etc.).
• Support the finance team in developing operational analyses.
• Help pull/develop support for both internal and external audit requests.
• Work with the internal audit team to maintain the internal control framework.
• Project work focused on analysis or process improvements.

You will take part in many day-to-day accounting and finance activities as well as involvement in team projects. This role will be part of the U.S. Energy Accounting and Finance team. U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI.

Job Responsibilities
