Job summary

Valley National Bank is seeking a Treasury Management Specialist to onboard commercial clients with Treasury products and manage complex implementations such as FTP, BAI, Positive Pay, and ACH. This role also supports internal business banking and middle market Treasury clients.

The position emphasizes ensuring proper documents before implementation, delivering excellent service, and coordinating with teams to meet SLA targets.

Responsibilities

• Onboard commercial clients with Treasury products including complex implementations such as FTP, BAI, Positive Pay, and ACH.
• Provide support to internal customers for all business banking and middle market Treasury Management clients.
• Ensure Treasury Management documents and agreements are properly completed and executed prior to implementation.
• Provide excellent customer service to support and solve internal and external customer issues.
• Proactively time manage internal customer expectations when communicating and responding to processing requests, instructions, inquiries, issues, voicemails, and emails to help maintain relationships.
• Track reported issues for consolidation and potential process or system changes.
• Troubleshoot systems issues for resolution; liaise and advocate on behalf of the client and ensure continuation of care when additional internal expert involvement is needed.
• Assist Commercial Client Service Office with projects, activities and tasks.
• Adhere to, or improve, performance in meeting Service Level Agreement standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members, team leads or team managers to ensure cross coverage and satisfactory completion of incremental workflows.
• Handle urgent requests with a high degree of accuracy and quick turnaround time.
