Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Venteon is seeking a Treasury-Disbursements Lead for a well-established, rapidly growing company in Brighton, MI.

Qualifications - Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 1-4 years of relevant experience in treasury, accounting, or accounts payable
  • Ambitious, driven, analytical problem solver eager for responsibility
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar financial ERP/software is a plus

Working Arrangements: Primarily remote (85%), with in-office work once a week initially, moving to biweekly in the future.

Responsibilities:

This new role reports to the Treasury Manager and aims to support growth by realigning the payables team within Treasury. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and related experience, with potential to manage a small team.

  • Review vendor payments for accuracy, process, and cash management; dual approval required
  • Research payment statuses, void/stop pay, and block disbursements as needed
  • Upload AP check files weekly
  • Manage positive pay activities
  • Verify new banking instructions and approve ACH instructions
  • Ensure timely remittance of tax bills and track payments
  • Approve disbursements over $5,000 in NetSuite
  • Assist with vendor wires/ACHs and finalize AP check runs
  • Track refunds and reconcile vendor statements
  • Potentially oversee additional payables solutions and implement process improvements
