POSITION SUMMARY:

The Treasury & Debt Manager will own the day-to-day treasury operating model and support the CFO with cash, debt, banking, liquidity, short-term investment, and treasury control matters. This role will help establish clear processes for cash forecasting, debt schedules, lender reporting, bank account administration, signer controls, customer deposit liquidity, and treasury reporting.

The position requires a hands‑on treasury professional who can work across a growing global organization and partner closely with the Enterprise Controller, FP&A, Finance Systems / Oracle Transformation, operations, legal, external banking partners, and other stakeholders. The role is expected to improve visibility, strengthen controls, reduce key‑person dependency, and create repeatable treasury processes that support accurate reporting and sound financial decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Treasury, Cash Forecasting, and Liquidity Management

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and 13‑week cash forecasting processes across the organization.
  • Prepare recurring cash reporting for the CFO, including cash balances by bank, entity, currency, restricted status, and availability.
  • Monitor liquidity needs, customer deposit activity, project‑related cash requirements, payroll, AP disbursements, and other near‑term cash uses.
  • Partner with FP&A and operations to improve cash forecasting assumptions and connect project forecasts to expected cash receipts and disbursements.
  • Identify excess cash that may be available for short‑term investment while maintaining appropriate liquidity for operating and project needs.

Debt Administration and Lender Reporting

  • Maintain the company’s debt schedule, including lender, entity, facility type, maturity, interest rate, collateral, covenant requirements, and reporting deadlines.
  • Support preparation of lender reporting packages, covenant support, borrowing base information, availability analysis, and other bank‑required schedules.
  • Track interest expense, debt service requirements, letters of credit, guarantees, bonding exposure, and other treasury‑related obligations.
  • Coordinate with the CFO, accounting, legal, and external advisors on debt amendments, new facilities, renewals, guarantees, and required lender deliverables.
  • Help develop reporting that gives leadership clear visibility into debt, liquidity, borrowing capacity, covenants, and treasury risk.

Short-Term Investments and Customer Deposit Liquidity

  • Help establish a conservative short‑term cash investment program designed to preserve principal, maintain liquidity, comply with restrictions, and optimize interest income.
  • Evaluate short‑term instruments such as bank deposits, sweep products, treasury money‑market funds, certificates of deposit, Treasury bills, or other CFO‑approved options.
  • Develop and maintain cash segmentation between operating cash, near‑term liquidity reserves, project/customer deposits, restricted cash, and investable excess cash.
  • Coordinate with the CFO and legal/accounting teams to understand customer deposit restrictions, project obligations, debt covenant considerations, and cash availability.
  • Track investment maturities, earned interest, bank limits, counterparty exposure, and reporting needed for accounting and management review.

Bank Administration, Signer Controls, and Treasury Processes

  • Manage bank account administration, including opening and closing accounts, maintaining authorized signer lists, reviewing online banking access, and supporting user access controls.
  • Maintain banking relationship information, bank fee analysis, contact lists, and treasury service documentation.
  • Strengthen approval workflows and controls over cash movement, wires, ACH payments, positive pay, account transfers, and bank platform access.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Controller to align treasury activity with bank reconciliations, cash entries, balance sheet reporting, and internal control requirements.
  • Develop and document treasury policies, procedures, calendars, and reporting routines.

Reporting, Controls, and Cross‑Functional Support

  • Create recurring treasury dashboards and schedules for cash, debt, liquidity, short‑term investments, bank administration, and key treasury risks.
  • Support audit requests, tax schedules, debt confirmations, bank confirmations, cash balance documentation, and other external reporting needs.
  • Partner with the Finance Systems / Oracle Transformation Lead to improve treasury workflows, reporting automation, controls, and data integrity.
  • Partner with AP, AR, payroll, corporate accounting, FP&A, project accounting, and subsidiary finance teams to resolve cash and treasury issues.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes, eliminate key‑person dependency, improve documentation, and strengthen treasury discipline.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management, banking, corporate finance, debt administration, or related finance roles required; 7+ years preferred.
  • Experience with debt schedules, lender reporting, covenants, letters of credit, guarantees, or bank facility administration strongly preferred.
  • Experience with cash forecasting, liquidity management, bank administration, signer controls, and treasury process improvement required.
  • Familiarity with short‑term investment vehicles such as CDs, Treasury bills, money market funds, bank sweep products, or insured deposit programs preferred.
  • Experience in a multi‑entity, multi‑bank, project‑based, construction, EPC, manufacturing, energy, or privately held company environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills required; experience with ERP systems, treasury management systems, bank platforms, Power BI, or Oracle preferred.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls over cash movement, banking access, and approval workflows.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with accounting, FP&A, operations, legal, external banks, auditors, and senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to build repeatable processes, document procedures, and manage deadlines.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive cash, banking, debt, and financial information.
