Job summary

Financial Services – Alternative Assets in New York City seeks a Vice President, Treasury & Corporate Accounting to lead treasury, expense, and corporate accounting, partnering with FP&A, treasury, and business teams to ensure accurate reporting and strong controls.

The ideal candidate has CPA and Big 4/public accounting experience, 10+ years in related finance roles, and a track record of improving processes within financial services.

Qualifications

• CPA is required and Big 4/public accounting background preferred.
• 10+ years in accounting, treasury, or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience leading accounting or finance teams.
• Public/private mix in financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead treasury, expense, and corporate accounting activities.
• Oversee investments, cash management, financing arrangements.
• Manage month-/quarter-/year-end closes for treasury and ops.
• Prepare financial reports and management presentations.
• Partner with FP&A and business leaders on budgeting and variance analysis.
• Enhance internal controls and reporting through system improvements.
• Coordinate with auditors and support annual audits.
• Monitor liquidity and cash activity; uphold governance.
