Job summary

Young Automotive Group in Layton, Utah is seeking a Treasury Clerk to join our finance team and support daily treasury operations. You will monitor bank accounts, manage cash flow, process financial transactions, and work with the finance team.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in accounting, finance, or treasury is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling daily bank statements and cash postings.
• Verifying discrepancies on bank loans and statements.
• Preparing daily bank deposits and cash reports for dealerships.
• Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues.
• Managing returns checks and credit card issues.
• Performing general accounting duties as needed.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who is comfortable working with financial information and managing multiple priorities. As aTreasury Clerk, you will help support daily treasury operations, including monitoring bank accounts, managing cash flow, processing financial transactions, and working closely with our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Experience in accounting, finance, or treasury is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Reconciling incoming and outgoing payments on daily Bank Statements
• Verifying discrepancies on bank loans and bank statements
• Verifying company postings and recording bank account data
• Prepare in counting and reporting daily bank depositsRespond to customer inquiries
• Prepare daily Cash Reports for dealerships
• Manage any return check and credit card issues
• Other general accounting duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Knowledge with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
• Experience with Cashiering is a plus
• You must be an independent self-starter
• You must be organized and able to prioritize tasks
• You must have a history of successful employment with excellent attendance and punctuality
• A desire to learn and grow with a great company
• A valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check
• Previous Dealership experience is preferred
