Job summary

A leading financial services company in New York City is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join a fast-growing team. You will support cash management and assist in the Kyriba implementation while collaborating with senior leadership. Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a technology-forward annuity carrier that grew from 1 to 65 employees in just 14 months. Backed by a major private equity firm and led by one of the most respected executives in the insurance industry, this company is building the infrastructure now to support explosive growth ahead.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You'll join a three-person treasury team reporting directly to the Treasurer. The team just signed with Kyriba and is selecting their implementation consultant this month, meaning you'll be hands-on with the TMS build from day one. You'll work alongside senior leadership daily in a flat, collaborative environment where titles don't create barriers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support daily cash positioning and liquidity management using JP Morgan Access (transitioning to Kyriba)
• Assist with Kyriba implementation, testing, and go-live activities alongside the Treasurer and Senior Analyst
• Process and monitor cash transactions, wire transfers, and bank account activity
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and variance analysis
• Support month-end treasury reporting and reconciliations
• Collaborate across finance, accounting, and operations teams on ad-hoc treasury projects
• Help build treasury policies and procedures as the function scales

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Corporate treasury experience (not banking treasury) at an insurance company: life, health, P&C, annuity, or reinsurer. This is a firm requirement from leadership.
• TMS experience with solid understanding of treasury management system fundamentals. Self-starter mentality with ability to figure things out independently
• Strong communication skills and team-first attitude

Bonus Points:

• Kyriba experience or prior TMS implementation involvement
• Experience at a high-growth or startup environment
• Comfort with ambiguity and building processes from scratch

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Base Salary: $130,000 to $150,000

Bonus: Up to 15% target (based on experience and skills)

PTO: Generous vacation, sick time, and paid holidays

Schedule: Monday through Thursday in office, Fridays remote (fixed). Most people arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 AM and leave between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. No expectation to stay until 8 or 9 PM like other industries.

Location: Midtown Manhattan, easy commute from anywhere in the tristate area including NJ, CT, and Long Island. Near Grand Central.

The Office: 15 to 20 people on a typical day, fully stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks, collaborative and flat culture with direct access to the CEO and senior leadership.
