Job summary

LANXESS is seeking a Treasury Specialist for a HYBRID role in Pittsburgh. You will own cash positioning for the U.S. and Canada, manage payments, and produce liquidity analysis to support business decisions across units and corporate functions.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years in Treasury, strong bank operations knowledge, and proficiency with ERP and AI-enabled automation. On-site presence in Pittsburgh is expected three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of corporate Treasury and cash management, including bank operations, reconciliations, payments and banking controls.
• Strong analytical judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate root causes and carry issues to resolution.
• Clear communication and business-partnering skills to work across functions and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own daily U.S. and Canada cash positioning and reconciliations, resolve exceptions and escalation liquidity or control issues.
• Execute and monitor manual, urgent and exception payments within policy and authority.
• Manage check and cash-receipt processing and identify remittances.
• Produce Treasury reporting and analysis explaining cash and liquidity drivers.
• Maintain bank-account records, signatories, KYC documentation and digital-banking access.
