Job summary

Hercules Capital, Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support daily cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and debt reporting for multiple entities.

You will leverage advanced Excel and AI productivity tools to automate recurring treasury tasks, coordinate daily payments, and assist with drawdowns, capital injections, and covenant reporting as part of a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1–3 years of related treasury/finance experience; debt experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with AI productivity tools is a plus.
• Experience with Hazeltree or other treasury systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily cash flow forecasts and cash balance management.
• Update prior day activity across all legal entities.
• Update deal pipeline for fundings, payoffs and Private Fund allocations.
• Monitor and manage daily cash positions and idle cash investments for liquidity.
• Process automation with advanced Excel features and AI assistants to reduce manual effort and strengthen documentation.
• Assist with operational duties including drawdowns, capital injections, capital distributions.
• Support daily payment activities including wire initiation and tracking, coordinating with AP and wire approvers.
• Assist with tracking banking activities and maintenance of the internal Bank account matrix.
• Assist with KYC, audits and regulatory exams.
• Assist with leveraged facility compliance and covenant reporting.
• Assist with 10Q/10K schedules and quarterly management reports.
