Job summary

Qualifications

• BA in Finance or related field.

• CTP preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with banks for daily operational needs.
• Maintain the Treasury Management System and portals; keep master data up to date.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks and treasury partners.
• Perform bank administration: account openings/closings, portal entitlements, validation, fee analysis.
• Analyze monthly bank statements to identify unnecessary fees and optimize cash management.
• Support innovative cash management and fraud prevention initiatives.
• Support treasury projects with analytics, research and planning.
• Support governance initiatives and regular reporting for compliance.

Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY Assist in the global banking administration function, as well as the administration of related banking and treasury systems for Arch Capital Group, supporting the Treasury function and all goals and objectives of the team. Promote consistency of process across a range of Treasury responsibilities throughout the group while seeking opportunities for improvement and to support all business units and corporate functions. Provide Treasury expertise to group initiatives and drive enterprise value through contribution to various projects, participating in review and challenge of objectives and outcomes. Liaise with contacts, both with business units and corporate teams to collaborate on any matters related to bank administration. Candidate must be willing and able to adapt to changing business demands, while managing a range of objectives and to work with a diverse global group of internal partners.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• 1. Liaise with banks for daily operational needs.
• 2. Maintain and administer the Treasury Management System and all electronic banking portals, ensuring the internally maintained master database is up to date.
• 3. Cultivate and maintain relationships with third party service providers (operating banks, custodian banks) and other Treasury related functional areas across Arch.
• 4. Perform bank administration activities such as account opening/closing, portal user creation/entitlements, settlement instruction validation, bank fee analysis, banking service evaluation and other Treasury activities as needed.
• 5. Analyze monthly bank account analysis to identify unnecessary fees and services, while optimizing ECR, sweeps and interest.
• 6. Support the implementation of innovative cash management and fraud prevention strategies, products, technologies, initiatives and controls.
• 7. Support all project related activity for Treasury - providing analytical, research and planning support.
• 8. Support the ownership of governance initiatives and provide regular reporting to identify areas of non-compliance or potential violation and remedy accordingly.

Knowledge & Skills

• 5. Excellent communication (written/verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interface with and influence internal/external contacts.
• 6. Advanced proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.

Education & Experience

Required experience would typically be acquired through a BA in Finance or related fields and 0-2 years Treasury or Finance related experience. CTP prefered but not required.
