Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Treasury Analyst to provide analytical and bank administrative support to the Treasury area. The role covers financial forecasting, FX trades, hedging programs, and daily treasury operations with internal SAP and external online banking tools.

You will work with internal partners on accounting for treasury activities, handle bank accounts and documentation, and participate in special projects, traveling occasionally when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in treasury, accounting, or corporate finance.
• Preferred experience with SAP Treasury or online banking platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field.
• Exposure to bank account administration or documentation (opening/closing, signer updates, KYC).
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial/data software applications.
• Interest in capital markets concepts (FX, investments, debt instruments).

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and administrative support for Treasury activities.
• 25%: Financial forecasts for The Home Depot and subsidiaries.
• Execute investments, FX trades, and implement hedging programs.
• 25%: Ad hoc analysis of financial instruments, transactions, and/or companies.
• Prepare recurring treasury reporting (e.g. compliance documentation).
• 25%: Manage bank accounts/documentation and bank fee analysis.
• Utilize SAP and online banking systems to collect information and perform daily duties.
• Work with internal partners to ensure proper accounting for treasury activities.
• Engage in special projects.

Position Purpose:

The Treasury Analyst's primary role is to provide analytical and bank administrative support to the Treasury area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing analytical and administrative support for some or all of the following:
• 25% Financial forecasts for The Home Depot and its subsidiaries
• Executing investments, FX trades, and implementing hedging programs
• 25% Providing ad hoc analysis of financial instruments, transactions, and/or companies
• Preparing recurring treasury reporting (e.g. compliance documentation)
• 25% Managing bank accounts/documentation and bank fee analysis
• Resolving store related customer service issues
• 25% Utilizing internal (e.g., SAP) and external (e.g. on-line banking) systems to collect information and execute daily responsibilities
• Work with internal partners to ensure proper accounting for all Treasury activities
• Special projects

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

• This position typically reports to Manager or Senior Manager
• This postion has no Direct Reports.

Travel Requirements:

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or co-op experience in treasury, accounting, or corporate finance
• Familiarity with SAP Treasury (or similar ERP/TMS) and online banking platforms

• Exposure to bank account administration or documentation (e.g., account opening/closing, signer updates, KYC documentation)

• Basic understanding of daily cash positioning concepts

• Proficiency in Excel and other financial/data software applications

• Interest in or exposure to capital markets concepts (e.g., FX, investments, or debt instruments)

• Coursework or academic focus in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
