Heritage Insurance seeks a Staff Accountant – Treasury to join our Tampa team. You will support daily treasury operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with month-end close and reporting, working closely with the Treasury Manager.

The role emphasizes bank reconciliations, journal entries, and adherence to internal controls. A 1–3 year accounting background and strong Excel skills are essential for success.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, including internships or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Excel formulas, lookup functions, and PivotTables.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and proactive communication.

Mansioni

• Support daily treasury and accounting operations and ensure records are accurate.
• Reconcile bank accounts, analyze accounts, and record journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with audit requests and ICFR/SOX compliance activities.
• Collaborate with treasury, accounting, and other departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain complete, accurate accounting records and documentation.
