Petroleum Marketing Group, a leader in the Eastern U.S. fuel market, seeks a Treasury & Accounting Specialist to support cash management, AP processing, and accurate financial record-keeping across multiple entities.

The role emphasizes detail orientation in a fast-paced, multi-entity property management and family office environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in treasury operations or accounting, strong Excel and ERP skills (Yardi a plus), and the ability to handle confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of experience in treasury operations, accounts payable, or general accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including intermediate formulas, pivots, and data organization).
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Yardi experience is a strong plus).

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily cash positioning, monitoring bank balances, and forecasting short-term cash needs.
• Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and other payables in a timely and accurate manner.
• Match invoices to purchase orders/contracts where applicable and obtain proper approvals.
• Prepare and process payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) in accordance with company policies.
• Perform or assist with bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, account coding, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and support 1099 preparation.
• Support basic general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation as needed.
