St. Thomas Aquinas College is an independent liberal arts college located on a 76-acre campus in Sparkill, NY, just 15 miles north of New York City. As of June 30, 2026, STAC had approximately $77 million in net assets, and its net revenues are approximately $37 million, mostly generated by net tuition or auxiliary housing and meals.

Under the leadership of President Kenneth Daly, the next CFO will build upon the sound foundation already in place, bringing deep financial acumen, a systems approach, a fresh perspective, and a commitment to the values of STAC, to this critical leadership role as the College works to further strengthen its vitality.

  • Higher education experience preferred; candidates from other complex, mission-driven organizations with demonstrated ability to transition successfully into higher education will also be considered;
  • A demonstrated track record of sound financial leadership, particularly in the areas of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, pricing/affordability, and developing financial systems, processes, and procedures;
  • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems literacy and significant experience in overseeing financial and accounting software, preferably knowledge and prior experience with Ellucian Banner;
  • Change management skills, including the ability to generate positive momentum through short-term wins, garner support for initiatives, and work through resistance to change; and
