JOB SUMMARY
Perform clerical and bookkeeping work involving research and processing of accounts for tax payments, review and enter data, and process transactions to meet the statutory responsibilities of the County Treasurer and ex officio Tax Collector. Provide customer services with significant time devoted to counter and phone customer interaction under basic supervision.
TYPICAL CLASSIFICATION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Work in this classification requires an individual to be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily. The work is sedentary requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The work also requires the ability to finger, reach, perform repetitive motion, hear, speak, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.

The hiring salary for this position is dependent upon experience, qualifications and position funding; starting salaries above the first quartile require additional approval.
