• Experience on ground-up and renovation projects.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.
• Ability to collaborate with owners, architects, subcontractors, and medical or facility staff.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.

Superintendent for Ground-up High End Retail Construction - Travelling

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a respected and growing nationwide General Contractor is seeking a Retail Superintendent to oversee their high-end retail ground-up construction projects across the US. This firm’s values strong communication, leadership presence, and the ability to maintain calm, collaborative job site environments above all else.

About the Role

The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This position requires an effective communicator who can manage subcontractors, interact professionally with hospital staff, and represent the GC with poise and confidence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to travel nationwide.
• Proven experience delivering high end retail store like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, or any luxury retail store.
• Experience on both ground-up construction and renovation projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a calm, professional, and solutions-oriented demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with owners, architects, subcontractors, and medical or facility staff.
• Proficiency with construction technology, including Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.
