Job description

Travelling HVAC Project Manager/Estimator needed ASAP for a well-respected, growing company! This company has many years of proven excellence and shows no signs of slowing down!

Do you bring 2+ years of HVAC, MEP, or construction project management experience AND love to travel?

The opportunity includes a base salary plus full benefits.

Candidates can live anywhere in the US, but must be able to travel to projects as needed. This is a remote position with pay up to $130k DOE, plus per diem.

This is a full-time role.

Our ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar role.

They should be personable, energetic, and demonstrate leadership, direction, and commitment to projects.

Primary responsibilities include:
  1. Managing and coordinating mechanical construction projects from conception to completion.
  2. Understanding all project details to order materials, issue subcontracts, develop billings, manage RFIs and change orders, and review submittals, ensuring team communication.
  3. Maintaining knowledge of project scope, conditions, and specifications.
  4. Planning proactively to prevent and resolve issues.
  5. Estimating and selling various types of projects: plan/spec, design/assist, design/build.
  6. Overseeing fabrication shop work packages, including detail review, material take-offs, and budgeting.
  7. Working with the Safety Department to analyze and mitigate risks, and ensure safety compliance on jobsites.
  8. Ensuring contractual performance conditions are met.
Primary qualifications include:
  1. 2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Mechanical Construction.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  3. Knowledge of HVAC, piping systems, and construction standards preferred.
  4. Familiarity with construction management software; strong computer skills preferred.
  5. Knowledge of P6 or Microsoft Project, with willingness to learn.
  6. Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills.
  7. Strong commitment to long-term goals and continuous learning.
  8. Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
  9. Confidence in knowledge and problem-solving skills.
