Job summary

Ridgetop Dental - Sterling is seeking a traveling Dental Assistant for a full-time role, covering Sterling and Reston locations as needed. You will support the Dentist in clinical care and ensure smooth patient flow.

The position requires at least 3 years of experience, valid RDA or CDA license, and X-ray certification. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork are essential, with on-the-job training offered for cosmetic and surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Dental Assistant or Certified Dental Assistant.
• X-ray / Radiography certification required/preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with cosmetic, restorative and minor surgery procedures beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Dentist in clinical care of patients.
• Take digital radiographs and prepare patients for procedures.
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures and maintain sterilization.

Looking for a Passionate Travelling Dental Assistant – Full-Time Role with Flexibility!

Ridgetop Dental is seeking a full-time Traveling Dental Assistant to work between our Sterling and Reston locations based on business needs. We are an established practice with three locations and looking for a dedicated and committed candidate with a minimum of 3 years experience. Individuals must have a positive attitude, strong initiative, be self-motivated and a team player.

Pay

• $21 - $30 per hour

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Shift & Schedule

8 hour shift

Requirements

• License & Certification: Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate

Benefits: (eligible after completion of 90 day period)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Dental Assistant will assist and support the Dentist in the clinical care of our patients.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Digital radiographs knowledge and experience
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
• Assisting the Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Preparing patients for procedures or exams
• Sterilization of instruments and lab procedures
• Working efficiently to maintain doctor's schedule
• Complying with all safety policies
• Providing patients and the practice support services; including, but not limited to, personal assistance and medical attention
• Maintaining dental supplies inventory and ordering
• Helping to maintain production, and reporting statistics weekly
