Job Description

Job responsibilities include receiving patients, viewing charts, beginning patient preparation, entering notes in patients’ charts (e.g., treatment planning, performed procedures, progress and clinical recommendations). Working with x-rays and molds is common, as is processing removable dental appliances, casts and impressions.

The Dental Assistant will properly clean and sterilize surgical instruments before procedures begin and check vital signs and maintain IV fluid flows during procedures.
