Job description
Patient Preparation: Greet and prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments. Ensure they are comfortable and inform them of the procedures.
Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during various procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns (Experience making temporary crowns), and surgeries by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and managing patient comfort.
Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and state regulations.
Patient Education: Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions, postoperative care guidelines, and answer any questions regarding their dental treatment and care.
Clinical Duties
Instrument Sterilization: Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment using autoclaves and other sterilization techniques.
Treatment Room Preparation: Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after patient appointments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready and sterile.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any observations made during patient care.
Impressions and Models: Take dental impressions and pour, trim, and polish study casts
Skills and Qualifications:
