Job summary

West Coast Wound is a mobile wound care provider serving patients in their homes and SNFs in the South Chicago, IL area. The team seeks Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to travel locally within designated regions, with extensive training provided.

Qualified candidates must be licensed as NP or PA in IL, hold CPR certification, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. This role is not remote and requires driving to patient homes.

Qualifications

• Current state license as NP or PA in IL.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with liability insurance; ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures for wound care.
• Perform wound care procedures and debridement as needed during patient visits.
• Document diagnoses and treatment plans in patient charts.
• Ensure patient satisfaction and provide education and follow-up.
