Job Description

This position is remote, requiring 100% travel, and is open to applicants from anywhere within the United States. It is an hourly paid position. With travel, overtime, and other supplemental earnings, resource technicians may earn over $100,000 per year. A $2,500 Sign-On Bonus is offered (eligibility requirements apply).

Do you enjoy travel and want to develop your electrical and mechanical skills while working on exciting projects? Join our Resource Team to travel across North America, supporting wind turbine maintenance and installation.

Responsibilities
  • Travel 100% of the time, including overtime and variable work schedules to meet business needs.
  • Act as a safety role model, promoting safety standards, recognizing safe acts, and intervening when unsafe practices occur.
  • Perform intermediate wind turbine maintenance and installation tasks, using specialized tools and documenting work in company systems like SAP.
  • Gather information on turbine performance, diagnose issues, and implement solutions up to routine intermediate problems.
  • Follow structured troubleshooting processes and use diagnostic tools effectively.
  • Support team environment, mentor lower-level staff, and promote collaboration.
  • Interface with customers, respond to inquiries, and maintain professional customer relations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Post-high school education or minimum two years wind industry experience (preferred), including electrical skills and ability to read electrical drawings.
  • Proficiency with power tools, diagnostic tools, and safety practices.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport.
  • Attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
