Job summary

CAM Industrial Solutions seeks a Combo Welder III to lay out, align, and weld fabricated components into machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, and related structures in Houston, TX. Travel to Fort McMurray, Canada is required and airfare is covered.

A minimum of four years' industrial construction/maintenance experience is essential. Responsibilities include arc and gas welding, setting up equipment, reading blueprints, and assisting other mechanics.

Qualifications

• Must have valid, non-expired US passport.
• Willing to travel to Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada (airfare covered).
• Lodging accommodations provided.
• Travel to and from the camp to work site.

Combo Welder III

Position Summary

Lays out, aligns and welds fabricated, cast and forged components to assemble structural forms such as machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, buildings and pipe, according to blueprints and metallurgy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, modify, and make repairs to pipe, boilers, towers, exchangers, furnaces, and drums
• Set up equipment and weld either pipe, plate, or structural steel using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment
• Work from blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Product quality work with reasonable efficiency
• Perform simple piping installations and repairs
• Assist other mechanics
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Qualifications

• MUST have VALID, NON-EXPIRED US PASSPORT
• MUST be willing to TRAVEL TO FORT MCMURRAY, ALBERTA, CANADA (airfare covered)
• Lodging accommodations will be provided at a camp
