Job summary

CAM Industrial Solutions LLC is seeking an Ironworker Journeyman for site-based, hands-on fabrication and installation. The role focuses on accurate layout, alignment, and assembly of structural-steel components, and requires welding with arc processes and crane rigging as needed.

Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years in industrial construction/maintenance, NCCER Certified Plus, and strong knowledge of safety rules, MSDS sheets, and supervisory practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Knowledge and understanding of MSDS sheets with management/supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lay out position, align, and fit components together for installation.
• Set up equipment and weld parts, using arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Hoist equipment and tools into location via riggings or crane.
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members, using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, and/or levels.
• Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors.
• Cut, bend, and weld iron/steel pieces, using metal shears, torches, and welding equipment.
• Tying reinforcement bar for foundation work.

Position Summary

Responsible for selecting equipment, figuring out layout assembly, welding, and instillation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lay out position, align, and fit components together for installation
