CB&I is looking for a Traveling Weld Trainer to provide training and development for welders across the United States. The role involves not only training but also inspecting welding work, handling materials, and ensuring the quality of constructions like steel storage tanks.
The candidate will oversee the Welder Performance Development Process and must have a minimum high school diploma with significant industry experience. This role requires extensive travel, impacting 75% of the time on project sites.

The Traveling Weld Trainer is responsible for the training and development of field welders at various job sites across the United States. In addition to training duties, this role involves inspecting welding work, material handling, storage practices, and the overall construction quality of new steel storage tanks, vessels, and structures, as well as evaluating repair work. The position reports directly to the Regional QA Manager and works closely with the various superintendents on a regular basis.
All benefits start day 1 except Vacation, which starts after 90 days.
Normal work environment will be shop or field which will require exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, working near moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibration, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
