Responsibilities

  • Create quality welds in accordance with drawings, specifications, applicable codes and standards, and pass inspections per ASME Sec IX using NDE methods.
  • Prepare product for welding by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting steel/aluminum parts.
  • Change wire and welding parameters as needed.

  • Inspect worksites to determine obstructions and plan sequences to avoid conflicts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.

Certifications, Education And Experience
  • Associate Degree or trade school certification in craft preferred, but significant hands‑on experience will also be considered
  • Strong, hands‑on background in welding of plate, piping (including small bore) and structural components, including carbon steel and stainless steel (where applicable), using GTAW, GMAW, SMAW and FCAW welding processes and equipment
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial welding experience desired, but will consider lesser experience depending upon individual
