Job summary

ESU 13 is seeking a part-time Vision Services Assistant to provide on-site technology setup and student support for remote Vision services in multiple districts. The role requires travel and collaboration with the TVI and school staff to implement goals and deliver services.

The position emphasizes data collection, materials preparation, and effective communication with families, teachers, and IFSP/IEP teams, while upholding FERPA and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Set up on-site technology and support students during Vision Services sessions.
• Travel to multiple districts as scheduled and manage Zoom meetings.
• Prepare materials and communicate progress to TVI, IFSP/IEP teams, teachers and families.
• Collect and summarize data on goals and objectives for TVI review.
• Maintain confidentiality under FERPA and state regulations.
• Support staff in implementing intervention strategies during sessions.
